Principal's Message

Dear Henry Families,

It has been a fantastic and unusual school year! There is a lot to celebrate and more exciting to come in the 21-22 school year. I want to start my end-of-year message by sharing a sincere thanks to the community, who have welcomed me with open arms. I genuinely enjoy working with your children each and every day and partnering with you to ensure our community is a fun, nurturing, and safe place for our kids! I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the endless support and doing whatever necessary to support students-- both at home and school.

I want to send a special thanks to our teachers and staff, who, as usual, went above and beyond the call of duty to provide students with an enriching school experience during this challenging year. Those experiences could not have been possible without their endless energy, skills, and devotion.

Next year holds a big change, and we will no longer be home to our Early Childhood Programs or Kindergarten. The newly renovated Lawson Early Childhood Center will open in August and house our Early Childhood Programs and Kindergarten, so we will be a First through Fourth Grade school building next year.

Now for a final word to our students: Thank you for all your hard work throughout the school year. I am honored to be your principal; you make me proud to be a Pioneer. You keep me laughing and humbled. I am grateful for your joy, insights, and amazing talents. Best wishes to our Fourth Graders, whom I will miss dearly-- Please come back to visit.

Until next year, here is to wishing you a safe, happy, healthy, and FUN summer break!
Thank you, and as always, It’s a Great Day to be a Pioneer!
